Oh, I love this, Amy! It speaks to my heart a deep encouragement to simply seek to serve well within the boundaries that God has placed me, in many areas of my life. There have been times when I have felt that my large back yard is a little too much to manage, especially as I'm getting older. I love the gentle spirit with which you are cultivating yours! I love how you are cultivating your writing, too!
I think your backyard is well and wonderfully tended, Terri; it has given abundant hospitality (and much-needed whimsy, especially in my most recent glimpse of it) to so many. And I'm always amazed at your ability and willingness to encourage others, including me! Thank you.
Amy, your words inspired me greatly! Because of your words I felt the nudge from the Spirit to start writing again. Its been decades. Thank you!
I'm delighted to hear this! Happy writing!
Wonderful-thank you for putting words to something I’ve felt about home.
I'm so glad it was helpful.
Beautiful...as always, Amy!
Oh, this is very kind; thank you!

"let my portion be commensurate to the home it may provide for others."-- This is a prayer I will carry with me. Thank you.
Thank you! It gives me joy to know you've found it a good companion for your journey.
This is such an inspiration! Thanks for a wonderfully
grand and tender glimpse of home.
Thank you for taking the time to read it, and to leave this kind note!
